Leveling platform with retractable lip DSM series

The electro-hydraulic platform with a retractable lip of the DSM series is used in cases where it is necessary to position the lip in the body as accurately as possible, as well as when loading cars sideways. Ramp segments provide the ability to work with vehicles whose width is less than the width of the platform. The platform can be installed in a pit with dock security system (SDS).

1. To ensure reliable and trouble-free operation of the leveling platform, it is recommended to carry out its technical inspection and maintenance on a regular basis.

2. When operating the dock leveler, make sure that there are no people or goods in the working area.

3. When the dock leveler is in operation, the gate must be fully open.

4. Make sure the car is parked in the correct position. If there is a risk of vehicle movement, secure the wheels with wheel stoppers.

5. Before loading/unloading, make sure that the full width of the ramp lies in the car body. The minimum distance for the ramp to enter the car body is 100 mm.

6. The control box must be located in such a way that the operator can always control the loading / unloading process.

7. For standard inflatable wheel loaders, dock levelers with a point load of 1.3 N/mm2 are acceptable.

8. Loading equipment with a high point load, such as electric stackers, pallet trucks, reach trucks, order pickers on polyurethane wheels, must use platforms with a point load of 6.5 N/mm².

Operating Conditions

1. To ensure reliable and trouble-free operation of the leveling platform, it is recommended to carry out its technical inspection and maintenance on a regular basis.

2. When operating the dock leveler, make sure that there are no people or goods in the working area.

3. When the dock leveler is in operation, the gate must be fully open.

4. Make sure the car is parked in the correct position. If there is a risk of vehicle movement, secure the wheels with wheel stoppers.

5. Before loading/unloading, make sure that the full width of the ramp lies in the car body. The minimum distance for the ramp to enter the car body is 100 mm.

6. The control box must be located in such a way that the operator can always control the loading / unloading process.

7. For standard inflatable wheel loaders, dock levelers with a point load of 1.3 N/mm2 are acceptable.

8. Loading equipment with a high point load, such as electric stackers, pallet trucks, reach trucks, order pickers on polyurethane wheels, must use platforms with a point load of 6.5 N/mm².
